No one expects a 16-year-old to sound just like Elvis Presley, but he does.

Benedikt Kostler walked onto the stage with a new haircut and clean clothes, as if he were a normal teen. When he started singing, everyone was surprised because they thought he would sing a modern pop song by Justin Bieber or Bruno Mars.

If you like Elvis Presley or great music in general, it’s fun to hear different versions of well-known Rock ‘n’ Roll songs. Even better if the titles of the books are nice surprises. Talent shows like the one you’re about to watch are the best places to hear new, fresh sounds singing the old songs we all love.

You might think that watching a talent show is a new way to find talented people, but this is not the case. Even Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Christina Aguilera, and Britney Spears were on the 1990s TV show “Stars Search,” which helped them get their jobs off the ground.

From different song challenges, a lot of music stars have also come out. The X Factor U.K. helped James Arthur, One Direction, Little Mix, and Leona Lewis become well-known. Fifth Harmony was formed on The X Factor in the United States, while Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, and others got their start on American Idol.

Even though the US and UK have made the most famous stars so far, other countries have a lot of promise as well. Benedikt Kostler is one of these contestants. He tried out for The Voice when he was 16 years old. With his amazing act, he caught the attention of both the judges and the crowd.

Benedikt walked into the room looking like a normal teenager, with a clean outfit and hair that had just been dressed. When he started singing, everyone was surprised because they thought he would sing a modern pop song by Justin Bieber or Bruno Mars. In fact, first opinions can be wrong. Benedikt sang “Always on My Mind,” an Elvis Presley song, with a voice that was deeper than anyone expected.

Even though he has only been singing for five seconds, the crowd is already cheering, and the judges are paying attention to him. In that minute, the judge tells him “I want you” for the first time, and the crowd continues to applaud him.

As soon as the second judge sings “I want you,” her chair turns toward Benedikt, and she can’t help but be surprised by how different he looks from how he sounds! Benedikt’s face is now happy and confident, and he starts playing high notes that please the other judges, giving him the full four votes.

In the comments, everyone agreed that Benedikt was a real find. Even though the presentation is in German, there are a lot of responses in English. This shows how important ability is everywhere.

One fan said of Benedikt’s performance, “He had a deep, kind of raspy country voice that I wouldn’t have expected from someone as young as him.” Benedikt, you did a great job. I really like this, so I think I’ll be ready to watch it more than once.

Another person says, “I can’t stop listening to this audition.” “It’s great!”

They didn’t go too far, that’s for sure. He was really great. We have his whole performance, FOUR more follow-up videos, and an amazing duo of “Hallelujah” as well. You should start watching, but you should know that once you start, you won’t be able to stop. Enjoy!
