The 91-year-old model was photographed to show that age is only a number. Below are her photos.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, Carmen Dell’Orefice holds the distinction of having the longest lifespan of any model in history. We have been encouraged to believe by the media and society that a woman is only attractive during her so-called “bloom of youth.” But as many women have stepped out to demonstrate, nothing could be farther from the truth.

The American model Carmen Dell’Orefice, who has lived for nine decades, is one of them. She started out as a child model and has never stopped doing photo shoots for magazines or walking the catwalk. She presently holds the title of having the world’s longest modeling career.

In 1946, at the age of just 15, Carmen made history by being the youngest lady to grace the cover of Vogue. She has also drawn notice from other prestigious fashion publications, like Harper’s Bazaar and W Magazine, and she even acted as the spokesperson for the iconic Chanel No 5 perfume.

But since she posed for New You magazine, she has gained in popularity. Models Carmen Dell’Orefice and Beverly Johnson, both 69, are featured in the picture session as part of an interview about “aging gracefully.” When Beverly Johnson became the first black woman to appear on the cover of Vogue in 1974, she created history.

The two women stood side by side as proof that beauty endures throughout the centuries. As has been noted often, maintaining optimum health necessitates a wholesome diet and consistent exercise.

She suggested keeping things straightforward since «less is more in virtually everything in life, except in love,» because change is a constant in life and time never stands still.
