“Very sweet and kind!” Brad Pitt offered free housing to his 105-year-old neighbor.

Brad Pitt purchased a home in Los Feliz, California, in 1994, with plans to expand his estate by acquiring several more properties nearby. He eventually sold his Hollywood Hills home to Cassandra Peterson, a well-known actress best recognized for her role as Elvira in several films and television shows.

However, it was later revealed that Pitt had bought the house from a 90-year-old man who had recently lost his wife and had extended an offer for him to live there without paying rent until he died.

Peterson, Pitt’s long-time neighbor, praised him for his generosity to the old man and to her. She admitted that the actor was always pleasant and cordial to her, and that he even made her happy when working on the estate’s “Fight Club” film while exercising with a punching bag in his backyard. Pitt lived at the house with his then-wife, Angelina Jolie, and their six children until their divorce in 2016. He lived alone in the estate for several years until selling it for $39 million in March 2021.

According to his friends, Pitt sold the estate to move to the picturesque seaside town of Carmel in Northern California, where he has already spent $40 million for a new home.
